Storage bunkers, for example for temporary storage after receipt of the goods or for packaging. Distribution bunkers for distributing and/or buffering one product flow into two or more product flows. Buffers are applied to add more continuity to production processes, i.e. fewer starts and stops and shorter waiting times, making your production process a lot more efficient.

    Experience

We boast many years of experience with this technology relating to two systems, namely dry storage of products in a bunker and under water storage of products in a water silo.

Verdeelbunker met verdeelband en pneumatische valbrekers

    Applications

Bunker systems can be used for various products, e.g. mussels, cockles, potatoes, vegetables, pearl onions, etc.

    The possibilities

Dry buffering is intended for fresh products, washed products, peeled products, etc. Under water buffering is i.a. intended for peeled potatoes, to prevent them from turning blue, and for shellfish, to simulate natural conditions and improve storage life. Under water buffering has the added advantage that it enables you to heat or cool the product. Moreover the water may serve as a shock absorber.

    Construction of the installations

The systems can be fitted with a screw, a belt or a metering slide.

    The advantages

Our bunker systems are built fully in accordance with your specifications to suit your requirements.
