Water treatment
After preliminary filtration of, for example, product residue, the waste water, which may have flocculants added to it from the flocculant dosing system, enters the clarifier. As a result of the polymer, the solid particles bind together to form flakes that settle in the conical funnel and pack together in the bottom. The middle of the clarifier holds a cylinder, which is open at the top and bottom, which allows the water that enters to settle and the flakes to gradually sink to the lowest point.
Once the quantity of mud in the point of the clarifier reaches a set upper value, the system pumps the mud away until the set lower value is reached. The values are continuously monitored. This creates mud of a consistent quality and prevents relatively clean water from having to be pumped away.
It is a quiet and automatic process, which results in good separation of water and solids.
