The MT head topper is specially designed for de-heading carrots and parsnips.

The head topper is made of stainless steel with plastic conveyor belts; the design is made so that everything is easy to clean.

This machine is constructed as follows: straightening belts that ensure that the carrots are positioned in the width direction of the belt on cutting and straightening table. Vertical circular knives are positioned on the left and right to cut off the heads.  Optionally, carrots and parsnips can also be cut into pieces; additional circular knives are provided for this purpose.

The drives are with drum and slip-on motors and the bearings are heavy duty, with bearing housings filled with grease that is foodsafe.

The slip-on motors are Tuph-resistant that can withstand high-pressure cleaning and wet/moist conditions.
