The MT underwater washer is designed for washing and pre-washing large capacities of tuberous product such as potatoes, carrots, parsnips, celeriac, red beets etc.

The large drum of 2 meters in diameter sends the product completely through the water. The effect is that soil, mud, and clay caps are thereby easily detached from the product.

The drum hangs in 2 heavily toothed belts that each have their own drive system. Because the pumping system is mounted directly on the back of the water tank, washing can be done with minimal energy consumption because the water circulates from the inlet to the outlet.

At the output, the product is placed on the output elevator via vanes. The sludge can then be discharged centrally via a screw to a dump valve. Because this can be done with one valve, water consumption is minimal.

There are also cleaning hatches in several places, making the machine easy to clean and maintain.
